U.S. natural gas futures ended down 2.6 percent on Thursday following the release of a bigger-than-expected storage build despite forecasts for stronger-than-normal cooling demand over the next couple of weeks. The U.S. Energy Information Administration said utilities added 106 billion cubic feet of gas into storage last week, more than the 102 bcf expected by analysts in a Reuters poll.
