Spot silver prices in the international markets declined yesterday taking cues from fall in base metal prices. However, further losses were cushioned owing to weakness in the DX and gains in gold prices.Spot silver prices in the international markets fell by 0.7 percent and closed at $16/oz. On the MCX, silver prices declined by 1.2 percent taking cues from weak international markets and closed at Rs.35495/kg.
