ZOID RESEARCH 10-OCT-2014 : COPPER

LME Copper prices jumped by 0.9 percent on Thursday after U.S. central bank authorities signaled they would not rush to boost interest rates, extending a period of cheap capital for industry and investors.Peru, a top world exporter of copper, silver and gold, posted a 1.65 percent economic expansion in the second quarter from the same period in 2013 - the worst reading since the third quarter of 2009.However, signs that Germany is witnessing a slowdown fuelled serious concerns about demand for the metal. Also, gain in LME stocks by 0.2 percent acted as a negative factor. The red metal closed at $6702/tonne in the last session.
