Spot silver prices gained marginally by 0.3 percent on bargain buying at lower levels. Strength in the dollar index coupled with weak performance in the base metals complex capped the rally.On the MCX, silver prices gained by 0.4 percent taking cues from international markets and closed at Rs.41951/kg.
