Silver prices fell by 0.3 percent in the last trading session owing to weakness in gold prices. Also, strength in the dollar index exerted downside pressure on prices. Spot silver prices in the international markets closed at $19.3/oz. On the MCX, silver prices declined by 0.1 percent taking cues from Rupee depreciation and closed at Rs.42950/kg.
