US natural gas futures ended 1.4 percent lower on Monday on forecasts for moderate weather and expectations of another bigger-than-normal storage build. Gas in storage stands at 1.499 trillion cubic feet, still an 11-year low for this time of year as utilities work to refill storage after a cold winter.
On the MCX, natural gas prices declined by 0.86 percent and closed at Rs.276.60/mmbtu.
